Sunny and I have been on school holidays for the past 2 weeks, which sadly end today :( As of Monday the countdown will begin until the Christmas holidays... 10 weeks... Is that a little confronting or what?!
Last week I was way too preoccupied with sewing and crafting that I didn't post my regular 'Friday Craftspirations' and this week I have been researching activities that I could do with Sunny to pass our time. I have been sifting through my regular bloggy reads to borrow some ideas and stumbled across one magical post that inspired Sunny's embroidery hoop artwork which she started this week...
It's coming along steadily! She's been working on it beside me as I continue clacking with me knitting needles. Her embroidery skills are still in their emerging stages but she's loving it and I'm not fussed about perfecting her work at the moment. That will come with practise.
This weeks 'Craftspirations' can be found at my Pinterest collection and are perfect activities for your kiddies to do at home...
1. Circle paintings from here - I'm loving the vibrant colours! I have grand plans that has been inspired by this style of painting... Hopefully Sunny and I can get it started this weekend some time.
2. Kids sewing project from here - I love the idea of children creating their own soft toys. Just imagine the possibilities...
3. Embroidery pillows from here - Proof that little ones can embroider either free style or by following a simple pattern.
4. Peg Dolls from here - Get out that glitter, fabric scrap collection and PVA glue!
